The Riverside Service Club is open to all 5th graders interested in helping out the community.       Members meet in the cafeteria  Wednesdays from 2:30- 3:30pm.

Service Club Goals:

☺	To be a volunteer organization that participates with various service projects for the community.
☺	Give members opportunities to help with school wide projects which include recycling, the PTA Winter Coat Drive, PTA Food Drive, Pet Supply Drive and assisting Riverside's Care Team.
☺	Teach members about the importance of helping others, animals and taking care of the earth.
☺	To provide a fun, safe atmosphere which teaches and facilitates communication and conflict resolution skills.

Previous Service Club Projects:

♥	Collecting toiletries, decorating and assembling care bags for a local women's shelter.
♥	Decorating pumpkins for a local nursing home.
♥	Writing letters to the solders in Iraq.
♥	Designing and decorating holiday placemats for a local nursing home.
♥	Making dog treats for the Humane Society
