Our Mission:

The mission of the Riverside Elementary School Counseling Program is that ALL students should be afforded opportunities for guidance and support in becoming a life long learner and in developing skills to support their personal/social, academic and career goals. The counselors work in partnership with parents, teachers, administrators and members of the community to remove barriers to student success.

Our Beliefs:

• All students have dignity and worth.
• All students have the right to be served by the school counseling program.
• All students ethnic, cultural and racial differences and special needs are considered in planning and implementation of the Riverside counseling program.
• All students K-5 have access to a state certified Master's Degree level counselor.
