Meet the Counselors!!

 

Mrs. Roshan Finch (K, 1st & 5th)

Mrs. Roshan Finch holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education/Exceptional Child from Flagler College, a Master's degree in Guidance and Counseling from the University of North Florida and a Specialist in School Counseling from the University of Georgia. Prior to joining Riverside, Roshan was a classroom teacher and school counselor in Florida. She was both an elementary and middle school student in Gwinnett County Public Schools, and she graduated from St. Pius X High School in Atlanta, GA.  Roshan currently lives in Norcross with her husband, two sons, a dog and cat. This is her 8th year at Riverside!

Mrs. Yesenia Lopez (2nd, 3rd & 4th)

Mrs. Yesenia Lopez holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education-Bilingual/Bicultural and Spanish from Kean University. She has a Master’s degree in School Counseling from the University of West Alabama and a Specialist degree in Leadership from Lincoln University. Yesenia is certified in English as a Second Language. Prior to working at Riverside, Yesenia was an elementary school classroom teacher in Gwinnett County Public Schools and in New Jersey. This is her 4th year at Riverside!

Mrs. Lindsay Norcom - Intern (K, 1st & 5th)

Mrs. Lindsay Norcom holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science Education from North Georgia College and State University, and is currently working towards her Master’s and Specialist degrees in School Counseling at Georgia State University. Lindsay was a classroom teacher in Gwinnett County for five years prior to joining Riverside as a counseling intern. She has lived in Gwinnett County her entire life and graduated from Duluth High School. Lindsay now lives in Lawrenceville with her husband and cat. She is so excited to be working with the students, staff, and parents at Riverside Elementary School!
